Landshut - a city with a heart

Landshut, the 800-year-old city, formerly Duke´s residence and present location of the Lower Bavarian government with many cultural highlights. A city on the Isar River that is predicated for relaxation as well as work.

Historical treasures, modern spirit and excellent gastronomy come together here - and all of this can be explored conveniently on foot. Likewise the proximity to the airport and the city of Munich make Landshut an attractive business location.

The City Hotel ISAR-RESIDENZ wants to become your home away from home directly in the centre of town near the pedestrian zone.

Tradition and modernity

The 200-bed hotel was newly built and opened in 2004 by City Hotel ISAR - RESIDENZ Betriebs-GmbH. The complete design and the furnishing was devised personally by the owner couple Jakob and Ursula Kirchammer. A passion for hotel management runs in the family of both owners. Ursula Kirchammer comes from an Upper Bavarian brewery and gastronomy family, and Jakob Kirchammer previously managed his own hotel in Lower Bavaria togehter with his mother.

To both of them Landshut was the perfect place to bring togehter awareness of tradition and modernity in a 4-star hotel with the highest of standards, where business travellers and vacation guests feel comfortable - be it for one night to a long-term stay.

The City Hotel ISAR-RESIDENZ is located in the middle of Landshut, nearby the pedestrian zone, in a central location surrounded by numerous restaurants, bars, shops, museums and sights to see that can be reached on foot.

During the festival of the "Royal Wedding of Landshut" is just as ideal as your residence - you will come to enjoy the parades and camp life nearly from the doorstep.
